Charlotte is a Director, Actor & Educator. She is a grade 8 classically trained soprano, trained at LIPA Academy in Musical Theatre and graduated from Royal Holloway University of London with a BA Honours in Drama & Theatre Studies. She also trained in Screen Acting at Act Up North and holds Qualified Teacher Status with a PGCE in Secondary Drama and English Education from University College London, IOE.

 

She has performed professionally for over 15 years, singing at national and international concerts, with choirs and as a soloist accompanied by Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra. She has sung for HRH Prince of Wales, US Secretary of State and was a finalist in the National Eisteddfod. She has also performed in several musicals directed by Bill Kenwright.

Charlotte has a wealth of experience in theatre, performing in national theatres, UK tours, Edinburgh Fringe Festival and internationally in Hong Kong. She has experience in commercials for MTV UK, Voice Acting work for Spotify ads and plays the recurring role of Alexia Hudsford in Podcast Audio Drama series 'Purgatory'.

She is the Director of Performworks Productions providing specialist Acting, Drama and Communication training and LAMDA exams to young people and is an experienced educator working in outstanding state and private schools in London and Hong Kong, most recently she was the Head of Drama at Maida Vale School 

Charlotte is the Co Artistic Director of Night Riot Theatre, a female-led theatre company based in London - www.nightriottheatre.com
